Volkswagen Art4All will take place again next Wednesday, May 27, 2020. On every last Wednesday of the month, we offer free admission from 4:00 to 9:00 pm. We are very pleased to be able to offer our visitors fee guided tours with sufficient safety distance: The technology we have chosen enables guided tours on site in small groups of ten people. All you need is your own smartphone and headphones. Face masks must also be worn in the exhibition spaces. Guided tours begin on the hour at 4:00, 5:00, 6:00, and 7:00 pm; the starting point is in the foyer of the Kunstmuseum. For children visiting the exhibitions with their parents, there is an Art Quiz, which is handed out free of charge together with colored pencils at the ticket desk. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, we are not able to offer any of the usual special events on site. For this reason, we have asked the artist Ulrich Hensel, whose exhibition is currently on view at the Kunstmuseum, to stand in front of the camera. In a three-minute video, which will be shown as of Wednesday on our social media channels, as well as on those of Volkswagen Group Culture, he explains the ideas behind his art, using works in the exhibition as examples. Café Kunstpause will be also open until 9:00 pm, and the Awilon Restaurant is open as usual from 6:00 to 10:00 pm.
